  • Very photogenic with its blue tower. The town itself is lovely to stroll through and look at all the little shops and boutiques selling delicacies such as apricot wines etc all available for tasting.....  more »
  • The ruined castle above the town is a heck of a climb but the views are fabulous. The town itself is small but very attractive with lovely shops. The castle is where Richard I was held prisoner. Legend has it that the bard Blondel found him by singing outside the castle and you will see references to both of the men all over town. A lovely place to visit.
  • On boat from Melk to Krems, passes this place. Nice panorama, historical place (On the top of the hill a ruined Castle, king Richard was prisoner here for a while..) Boat trip on Danube is very enjoyable because of places like this!
