Experience the power of the water at Krimml Falls (Krimmler Wasserfalle)--the fifth-highest waterfalls in the world with a drop of 380 m (1,247 ft). This tiered waterfall begins at the top of the Krimmler Ache valley and drops down in three stages. Take a hiking trail built by the Austrian Alpine Association to get very close to this natural spectacle. Watch the river join the Salzach from the highest point of the waterfall--1,470 m (4,823 ft) above sea level.     What a beautifull place. Amazing trail to walk to the waterfall Although the parking was kinda weird because its cash onluy so we had to drive to the small town and find a ATM, that was also hard to.....  more »

    Stunning waterfall and relatively easily accessible. However, we were surprised with the number of hiking routes available to reach the top, so we didnt have time to hike to the top. Would recommend.....  more »

    An amazing waterfall! One of the best I've ever seen. I recommend to take a local taxi to go upstairs. The road is pretty tough

    Such a beautiful place. The waterfall is the largest in Europe and after heavy rain was totally spectacular. There's a place after point 8 where it flattens out and is great for a picnic.
