The Dorotheum, is one of the world’s largest auction houses and the leader in Central Europe, offers its clients over 600 auctions each year in over 40 categories. Of particular importance are the four major international auction weeks with various types of contemporary art – which receive a special emphasis – classic modernism, old masters, and 19th century painting. In addition to art, antiques, and classic cars, design represents a special focus at this auction house located in Vienna’s center.
