Walk with the animals and talk with animals at Magnetic Hill Zoo. Established in 1953 as a game farm home to orphaned and injured indigenous species, the zoo has expanded extensively over the years to feature more than 400 critters from over 100 indigenous and exotic species. Come and make friends with the lemurs, otters, lions, and bears in the 16 hectare (40 acre) site, with enclosures designed to resemble the species' natural habitats. The visitor center and signage around the zoo offers information of interest to children and adults, meaning you'll pick up plenty of interesting facts about your new friends. Awesome experience Go there in the day time before 7 pm Distance approx 700 to 800 meteres Follow the directions to go to the magnetic hill it's basically an uphill and you only gonna fill the effect when you put your vehicle on neutral gear and on downhill... you gonna be amazed by the magnetic field and your vehicle gonna go back on down hill... effects varies depending on the weights and person in the car... You can do the same with water if you don't have any vehicle...pour some on the downhill and water gonna flow to the uphill side !! Attention !! do not come out of the car to see or film the effects
Pretty nice zoo. Quite small, maybe an hour or two to do the full tour, but pretty enjoyable. I think I prefer this to bigger zoos that needs you to walk around for a full day. Animals are often pretty close and if you get there at the good time you can see a trainer or two interact with some of them. You can feed a couple ducks & birds if you have a dollar to spare, there's a corn distributor somewhere. Prices were pretty fair and the presence of a small food shack with seating in the shade was really appreciated.
