Not just for skiing and soaking up the views, Grouse Mountain serves as a major year-round playground for both tourists and locals. Known as the "Peak of Vancouver," this mountaintop recreational area offers plenty of chances to hike, zipline, paraglide, and attend or take part in lumberjack events. Access the summit via a scenic chairlift ride or by hiking up a network of rustic trails. Other year-round attractions include a mountaintop wildlife refuge and theater. For a different perspective, consider joining a helicopter sightseeing tour. To visit Grouse Mountain and other attractions in North Vancouver, use our North Vancouver online holiday planner.

Excellent place, highly recommend to walk to the main entrance. You can take a bus from the bottom towards the main entrance but a nice walk up and with the views really is amazing with lots to do more »

Grouse Mountain is a magical place! It’s popular and very busy at times so people need to be aware of that. Summer has plenty to offer with activities and attractions and then snow sports in the winter! Complete turn around with great options! Grinder and Cooler the grizzlies look pretty cuddly to.
Grouse Mountain is one of the top destinations for tourists visiting Vancouver. If you want to be like a local and do have 2-3 hours extra time, consider hike the Grouse Grind up (2.5 km long, 850m elevation gain), and take the Gondola down. You save $30, and have a decent workout! On the top, there are a restaurant with nice city view, a couple of shows, a pair of grizzly bears and more hiking trails!
