Bike, hike, swim, and explore at Stanley Park, Vancouver's beloved recreational area. In addition to its thick forests, the historical park features large swathes of wetlands and seashores, hugely popular with nature lovers and impassioned trekkers. Giant trees hundreds of years old provide plenty of fresh air to Vancouver's downtown, while a lengthy network of paved and unpaved trails let you connect with nature and learn about the local ecology. Landscaped flower gardens serve as idyllic backdrops for snapping a few photos, and several eateries offer both indoor and alfresco dining within the park's grounds. Stanley Park Reviews

Stanley Park is absolutely gorgeous. It is very easy to get to from central Vancouver so I definitely recommend going to see it if you can. There are many walking and cycling routes that you can take. If only there for a day then cycling is a very efficient way. The Totem Poles and the Lighthouse are great sights, however there are many things you can do there.
Little bit of everything in this great urban park. We rode all around the bike path around Stanley Park. It was fun but the crowds unfortunately ruin the experience a bit. I am all for people getting outside to enjoy beautiful places like this but many people don't know basic etiquette or how to ride a bicycle. The park itself is spectacular with different areas providing different things to see, from totem poles to huge bridges to a sandy beach. I would do this again but would hope for fewer people.
