Royal BC Museum Reviews

Very cool museum! Static displays are done extremely well, including Old Town, which feels like a real city, indoors! The Mayan exhibit was cool to see as well; all of the artifacts were so well preserved that we almost couldn’t believe they were real and 1000+ years old. We visited in December, where you can find Father Christmas on weekends in Old Town. They provided free photos with Santa, and he was so incredibly sweet and kind. There was no line, and photos were emailed to us the same day. This was an incredible surprise, and a moment we will cherish forever as it was our 6 month old daughters first time meeting Santa. We will be back next year!
I have fond memories of spending time together with friends who were visiting Victoria for the first time. There’s something for everyone at this wonderful place. I include the photos of the flowers and the Bell tower as a reminder of the freedom to live and the sacrifice out troops gave that we have peace.
