Winding through boreal forest and bog meadows, Lookout Hills Trail represents a moderate return loop trek that provides some of the best vistas in the whole park. When you reach the boardwalk at the summit, sit back, relax, and enjoy panoramic views over the Tablelands and Bonne Bay. The delicate wetlands on the highland plateau boast hundreds of plants and the lush green color of the bog stands in contrast with reddish rocks offering great photo opportunities. • Spectacular view of the bay, hills and the tablelands. Moderate one-hour climb. Two and a half return. Wild orchids and rugged vegitation. Visit the Discovery Centre to learn about the amazing geology of Gros Morne.
  • Beautiful view. Hard trail with lots of switch backs.
