  • Entrance is free. The grounds are lovely to explore. Great museum that exhibits Botero’s paintings and sculptures. Many of the works were personally donated by the artist, apparently with the request that the museum is free and he gets to choose where they go! There’s also many other artists’ artwork, mainly paintings on display. Be careful not to get too close to the art wall as there’s sensors an alarm will sound. There’s also the coin or numismatic museum which is interesting.
  • Incredible collection of art. It’s free and a wonderful way to offer people exposure to some really great pieces of work. Lovely interior, very calm and relaxed without feeling sterile. Great place to spend a couple of hours (especially if you need to shelter from the Bogotá rain as we did!)
