Playa Blanca, Isla Baru

#1 of 29 in Parks in Cartagena District
Sun, snorkel, or simply relax at Playa Blanca, where turquoise waters, soft white sand, and lush coastal foliage attract scores of tourists and day-trippers. Kick back at one of the local beach bars with a bite to eat or a drink; alternatively, try buying some fresh oysters from the vendors who frequent the sandy stretch. Afterwards, grab your snorkeling gear and explore the underwater environment of coral and fish. However, be sure to keep an eye out for the jellyfish that frequent the area. • They are scammers, disorganized and not professional... they offer you a package where it is included transport lunch with drink and a so-called Open bar... All you'll get is transportation. don't be fooled... on top that the alleged tour manager had an altercation with another member and they clinged with fists in front of all of us his clients... shame

  • Terrible! From the entrance, some characters from the area behave him for some economic benefit. The parking was very good and the parking was very good. It doesn't create peace of mind. A smell nothing nice and maybe because of the clutter, trash, waste, collected water and who knows what other reasons! To access the "WHITE BEACH", an embarrassing path of stones. Not accessible to all visitors. You're still besieged by the natives, suffocatingly and generating some fear. Foreigners are intimidated more than nationals, obviously! You finally reach a yellow sandy beach and very beautiful features, but the clutter is total! DO NOT CAUSE! I do not recommend it and WOULD NEVER return as long as the public administration does not intervene in this area. It might be so beautiful, so prosperous and a very good place for tourism, but NOT as it is today
