    The museum demonstrates the pieces of life of Mendel. There are originals and copies of the pages from his notebook. Exciting. I wish it was a bit more fancy.  more »

    Wonderful café and museum in a great location. Even though the outside part of the exposition is still in early development, the courtyard is worth wandering into, it's free and there are info panels on Mendel's life and work. There are two exhibitions inside the building and the tickets are not expensive. If you're interested in the abbey's garden, the staff will take you there. Definitely recommend for a little casual outing, the place has great atmosphere.

    Very interesting morning learning more about Gregor Mendel. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, treating us to a tour of several areas. The library is spectacular. And enjoyed delicious cake and a coffee in their cafe afterwards. Well worth a visit if you are in Brno.
