  • I thought I said was great for sleeping in the basement of the Brno, but believe it or not sleeping bones. The ossuary was found in the basement of St. James Church, public exhibition. Or side by side or stacked bone crypt, though, and creepy anyway. Its overwhelming bone chilling, such as number of stops, foot. If stroboscope is not flashed a flash photography also is available. 170 KC and just 3 points are showcased, and expensive space and staff. If however, I should have looked at the sky and I came to Brno.

  • Fascinating and creepy is the lot of all walls of concealment csontkupac a large part of the skulls, a couple of teeth also has ... There is also a description of Hungarian. In spite of the rather small space, 10-15 minutes from the Parque is a massive number of everything, at this price and fame (2nd largest osszárium) I would have expected a little more.

  • Visited on a cold, wet March day. Nicely laid out, interesting artwork and atmospheric music combined with a reasonable price make this a good place to visit in Brno.  more »

  • Small but perfectly formed. We visited on a cold winter's evening after dark shortly before closing. 45-60 minutes maximum. The exhibition is carefully laid out, not on a scale to be mistaken with a catacomb under Paris etc. but beautifully presented. In a small family group we were able to soak up the atmosphere in a relaxed, thoughtful way. (Call ahead at busier times, it's small) The music and lighting is surely designed to help with the atmosphere, but kids who've been told the truth about death -you die, you leave physical remains, basta- shouldn't be troubled at all by what they see and experience, rather be fascinated by all the different shapes of the skulls and other bones. Recommended as part of a visit to the various architectural and historical attractions in Brno.
  • An interesting experience that is a most see for anyone that likes history. It is a rather short trip and it costs, but looking at everything that's inside and the context being it's creation is a worthwhile activity. You can also go there for the creep factor, which is very much present.
  • Okeyish! Some skulls and that's all...you can skip it easily and enjoy the more morbid experience of the underground cabbage market...
  • An eerie place to visit but probably not worth the entry fee. We were in and out in under ten minutes.
  • It was very interesting, the history of the ossuary was an excellent read. For being the second largest in Europe I was a little disappointed in the size, that said it is still impressive to see the displays. It takes a moment to truly understand the amount deceased you comes close to. If you are around and need time to fill your trip check this out.
