  • Lake Ilopango, is a crater formed by a magnificent volcanic erupcion, thousands of years ago, that affected the whole world. It's a gem. Excellent for water sports such as, skiing, lancka walking, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, swimming, etc., etc. The golf course at Club Salvadoreño Corinth, is a beauty, is located on the shore of the lake with magnificent trees, spectacular views. It is worth walking along the road that surrounds the entire lake, there are many cafes and small restaurants. One of them, the Safé Santa Cruz, also has different activities to enter the coffee farm of the same name. In the café you can enjoy the delicious Salvadoran Pupusas and other typical dishes.

  • Very beautiful lake, it was a super volcano a long time ago, now it’s filled with water, and a smaller volcano came about, hence a smaller island. It was a nice trip around the lake and beautiful veneer all around.
