  • Of the times I have visited the volcano I have loved, I love it for its long walk, being close to nature and breathing the pure air it provides is a delight, I love one of the national treasures

  • I technically didn't make it to either Santa Ana or the Cerro Verde. But it was an interesting day, and I learnt there's an alternative way to get to and from the volcano. I got the 11am bus to Cerro ...  more »
  • Amazing trip. The landscape is breathtaking and so is the long walking, so you better be prepared. If you love nature this is a very good opportunity for 4 hrs max walk.
  • If you are up for a tougher activity, you must add this to your list! 12 km up and 12 km down, but so worth it. Go with a guide, bring a liter of water and a few snacks. The diverse terrain and stunning views from all sides are worth the sweat.
