The Palace of Sans-Souci (French: Palais Sans Souci) was the principal royal residence of Henry I, king of Haiti, better known as Henri Christophe. It is located in the town of Milot, approximately 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) northeast of the Citadelle Laferrière, and 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) southwest of the Three Bays Protected Area.

    A mind blowing historic site ! The ruins make the imagination reconstruct how luxe of a palace this must have been. The greenery surrounds you and the courts are so vast! The tree of justice still stands although held by cables but just a magnificent place

    Local guides give you an history that makes you dream. In the site there's a tree with the legend that it was there before the construction of the Palace meaning it is more than 200 years old. The tree is called The Tree of Justice. It is where King Christopher held trials. Very beautiful site. A must see !
