This museum has one of the best tours for learning about the history and distilling process with regards to Irish Whiskey. In about an hour you can learn about the history of Irish whiskey, the progression of the distilling process for whiskey as well as learn about the key contributors to the history of whiskey. Definitely learned a lot on this tour. Finish up with some whiskey tasting of various whiskeys, where you also learn how to taste and appreciate the flavors of whiskey. The tour guide Laura was very helpful and knowledgeable and made it very interesting and fun while educating the group. This was truly a great experience and a must do/see if you're planning to visit other distilleries as well. I'd start with this experience first.
Tony was our tour guide. He did a fantastic job in educating about the history of all whiskey... of course with the focus on Irish Whiskey. The tasting was great, and as an added benefit this is an independently owned tour so it feels nice supporting them. Lastly, they have a BRUNCH TOUR. Unfortunately I went around 5pm, but the tour with Irish Irish Breakfast to follow sounds fabulous.
