  • This is a very good place to stop for lunch. The overnight accommodations are minimal, but good. The nature preserve is unforgettably beautiful.
  • To get here, you have to take a short hike that has no trail and just follow the railroad tracks (being extra careful to stay a safe distance away from trains). Once you get there, you have to register at a booth and pay 10 soles per person. Once through the gate, another short hike through a botanical garden to finally reach the waterfall. During your trip there, it offers great views of all the local flora, mountains and river. It was a fun activity to do the day after going to see Machu Picchu.
  • Pretty cool waterfall . Worth the hike if you have a day to kill in aguas calientes . Entrance fee is 10 soles per person .
  • An incredible place. Quiet, beautiful and relaxing. Hot water and internet included in the campground as well as small spaces to cook (if you have a camp stove) and hang out with a roof! They have a number of different small eco friendly projects such as filtered water available, compost and informative signs. Make sure to visit their botanical garden - it is a little slice of paradise. If you can’t stay for a night or two, stop by to eat and see the garden. Machu Picchu easily accessible from there by foot. Highly reccomend!!!
  • Nice walk through the garden. Lots of mosquitos though
