A small museum to expand knowledge. Interesting. I believe that the entry is too high. It is necessary to have cash (soles) because they have no credit card.

Very nice museum, little and in my opinion is worth a visit before going to Machu Picchu

When you hike down back into town you'll pass this museum. It's nice, nothing speciale though.

A little gem of a museum, tucked away outside of town. I would not have found it had I not hiked up to Machu Picchu. Informative and clean. For s/.21 (~$6.30 USD), it's well worth the price of admission.

Nice little spot just outside the entrance to machu pichu. For 22 sols or about $7, it's a nice overview of machu pichu and the history of the people. Took about 45 minutes to walk through and about 20 minutes to walk there from town. Well worth the trip the day before going up to the ruins.

Where to stay in Aguas Calientes

Thanks to the town's proximity to Machu Picchu, most accommodations in Aguas Calientes charge considerably more than alternatives in slightly less popular locations. Mid-range hotels and economical hostels cover the needs of most visitors, from backpackers to families with young children. Many locals also rent rooms in their private homes--if you choose to go for that type of lodging, don't be afraid to haggle for the best price.
