  • Yes, you have to go out there and try to walk a lot and spend as much time as possible in this place. A back in the city, sit on the edge of the square and have a drink.

  • Ollantaytambo is magical! The village itself with its cobbled streets, the square right between the middle of the mountains and the Archaeological Park which is spectacular. The entrance to the Park is included in the ticket, while early, less people. Circuit is armed, climbs up a place and low on the other. At the end there is a large park where it passes a Brook, very nice to rest.

  • When our guide told us that we had 250 steps to climb to the top we all thought how many? It was a slow climb with stops along the way on the terraces to hear from our guide about the history of these...  more »

  • Was really crowded but still worth it. Llama and alpaca graze on the grass at the bottom and each step up the ruins reveals a more majestic view. If you are really feeling adventurous try hiking up to the flag on the top of the mountain opposite the largest set of ruins. If buying lunch in the town don't go anywhere that doesn't have their clay oven hot and cooking something already.
  • Lovely valley with easily accessible ruins on either side. We could see them from our hotel window. Interesting terraces the Inca used crops and defense.
  • Wonderful work of ancient Inka people. I advise to climb up and see the 6 huge blocks and other megalithic rocks. It's a charming place, but the road that takes you to the sanctuary is super small. The village walls and the method used to build the village houses where people still currently live in is similar to what the Inka did in the past. I recommend this place.
  • Unique town to explore with cobblestone streets. Nice market and great ruins with a view. Enjoyable town.
  • Just simply a wow much better than any other places of the sacred valley.
