Science Museum · Museum
A contemporary museum and cultural arts center, CaixaForum presents an array of exhibits on ancient, modern, and contemporary art inside a formerly abandoned electrical station encased in oxidized cast iron. The permanent exhibit here explains the history and refurbishment of the museum, while the rotating exhibits--usually consisting of avant-garde and contemporary art--display painting, photography, video installations, and interactive works. Head up to the roof of the building for views of the neighboring Museum of Catalan Art. Make CaixaForum part of your personalized Barcelona itinerary using our Barcelona road trip app.

  • Who is free but there is very little to see. I thought that although the location was good they didn’t really utilize there I said this while. I thought the cakes for him in Madrid was a lot better as it had a lot more interesting things and was a lot more polished I can come and help because there’s a lot less visit us here even though the location here was a lot better than tech-support on in Madrid there was some interesting medieval and early cuneiforms dollar stuff but I’ll from Mesopotamia
  • Amazing children's section for each of the galleries. A little area just for kids enabling them to connect with the main exhibition. Well designed very informative, fun activities. Adults can have a go too! Well done, I was very impressed.
