  • The large Retiro Park had various statues, facilities, ponds and fountains. "Casita del Pescador" was translated and translated as "Fisherman's House" and I was a little surprised. There's a pond right next to it, but Fisherman's personally necked it up to me, but the look is cute, so let's say it's good.

  • Casita del Pescador is a small cute little cottage located in the north eastern end of Parque Retireo. It sits in an artificial lake with a walkway to allow access and was originally built by King Ferdinand VII as part of a private garden. The cottage is painted in a lovely terracotta colour that matches perfectly with a bright sunny day. Worth taking a detour to visit and get postcard perfect photos.
  • Great little corrage build on an artificial lake. If you are in Retiro Park its worth a detour to see and walk around. Painted images on red terracota walls of classical deities and monsters! Its base of operations for animal shelter organisation now. It opens after 16:00 on weekdays. Nicely spent 15 minutes! There are ducks to feed!
