  • Nice, small museum. Sorolla is popular amongst the spaniards, so be prepared to queue if you plan to visit during national holidays. Recommended.  more »
  • Finally, so glad to tick this off my bucket! Walking into Sorolla’s estate is like stepping back in time. It’s a surreal experience. His neighbours, tall modern blocks that loom over his garden...  more »

  • Superb museum! If impressionists are among your favorite painters you have to visit Sorolla where he lived with his family. Beautiful house full of great paintings and surrounded by peaceful gardens where apprentices try hard everyday to become the next great Spanish painter. I highly recommend to treat yourself with this experience. I believe that you won't regret it
  • The museum is his home. It is so intimate and warm. Not to mention free! The courtyards are lovely too. Stocked with beautiful paintings and sculptures, as well as antique furniture.
