See the first inclined skyscrapers in the world at Puerta de Europa - Torres Kio. Standing at 114 m (374 ft) high, with a 15-degree inclination, these twin office buildings look as though they are falling into each other. Walk beneath the towers and look above you to see offices looming overhead, or step back to get a photograph of the buildings coming toward each other. With 26 floors each, these are the second-tallest twin towers in Spain. The Torres Kio stand out for their striking architecture and are one of the most sought after photographs of the capital of Spain. It is essential to approach to see them from a certain distance.

They are located at Plaza de Castilla (reachable via the metro stop of the same name), in a modern area of Madrid, characterized by skyscrapers and shopping malls. On a perspective level it seems that in the middle of the two towers there is the obeliscus of Calatrava (a golden rod 92 meters high), but in reality the latter is in the center of the roundabout, while the 2 towers are, as mentioned, on the paseo de la Castellana; on the opposite side of the towers is the monument (1960) to the politician Josè Calco Sotelo. In photos the towers make it better than live; Also at night I expected to find them illuminated (as is often the case with skyscrapers) but instead they were dark.
Don’t get old even after 30 years of its construction due to its inclination, giving them that touch of modernity and vanguardism.
Beautiful place to visit.
