  • Fascist monument built by the dictator franco, conmemorating winning the war against the democratic Spanish Republic. A war started by the fascists after a failed coup, with the help of hitler and mussolini. After winning, the fascists occupied Spain for 40 years until the death of the dictator franco, in 1975.
  • Here, to the other side, one shall also find the Faro de Moncloa. As an whole, they are both easy to reach the middle of Madrid, and both offer worth for Money, with the Arco being free. Do go!
