4.4
Casa de las Conchas is an historic building with an impressive exterior that now holds a public library. Over 300 shells dot the outside walls, here because they are the symbol of the Order of Santiago. Rodrigo Arias de Maldonado, a knight of the Order of Santiago, built this house. Once inside, find a patio where you can admire the archways supported by pillars and columns.
