Trip Planner: Europe / Spain / Castile and Leon / Province of Valladolid / Valladolid / Museo Nacional de Escultura
Housed inside the Colegio de San Gregorio, Museo Nacional de Escultura contains an array of sculptures dating from the Middle Ages to the 19th century. Wooden polychrome pieces, which come mainly from convents, donations, and state acquisitions, figure prominently in the collection. You can usually only admire these pieces from a distance at Spain’s churches and cathedrals, but here you can inspect their intricate details up close. From the outside the cathedral, admire the intricate facade of the 15th-century Colegio de San Gregorio. With our custom trip planner, Valladolid attractions like Museo Nacional de Escultura can be center stage of your vacation plans, and you can find out about other attractions like it, unlike it, near it, and miles away.
Museo Nacional de Escultura Reviews
No suelo visitar museos, de hecho diría que este es el primero que visitó de su tipo y he alucinado, es un espectáculo por donde lo mires. El edificio es una pasada y las tallas fuera de serie. The building is a pass and the sizes out of the ordinary. I am pleasantly shocked to see the choir that is complete in a room and that comes from one of the monasteries of the city. Even if it's a quick visit you have to make, even if the art doesn't call you. The stairs are cinema, hopefully you will get the best photo of your trip. Entry on certain days and times is free, so there is no excuse.

Great museum (although centered on religious sculptures and paintings). If you love art, you will find some items that are worthy of your time. 5€ for it and the Casa de Cervantes is a bargain.
