Dating back to the 1850s, Dihua Street today is popular among shoppers and foodies. This main avenue used to be called Centre Street and still contains historical architecture that is protected by the city. Explore this attraction, which has long been known as the center of Taiwanese commerce and sells products ranging from foods, herbs, and tea to Chinese fabrics and incense. • Gorgeous courtyards between many buildings on this historic street. Everything has a cinematic quality to it and most have been so well- preserved. In my opinion, this oldest street of Taipei is a must visit spot. It was a very long street and we decided to have a rest in one of its many cafes. Though coffee/tea prices were on the higher side but for such romantic spots it was well worth it. We managed to find a cafe that has courtyard seating.. hmm..'In the mood for love' anyone?
  • A gorgeous street with lots of medical stores! There’s really lots of amazing goodies to be found in this area. I recommend those who are looking for medical stuff, cafes, food to come here. There’s a visitor center that can recommend how to walk around this place and the history.
