Started in 1981 and still under construction, the wooden place of worship features ornate images, reliefs, and statues. With an intensive attention to detail and a sensitive balancing of contemporary aesthetics and traditional architecture, there's plenty to appreciate about this work in progress--so don't let its completion date of 2050 put you off. • From several sources that I can building was built it was almost 15 years old and has not yet completed. For 15 year I really amazed and for word not finished I can witness it for yourself. Wood carving that is completely natural still worked on the sculptor when I visit this place. And most in awe not only lekaki which works to sculpt but I also saw some women or mothers participate, Wow ... really amazing woman instead? Sculptural details in every wood carvings not only can we see but can feel when we touch it by hand also, very detailed. Its beauty by looking from the entrance down the stairs before Sahadeva one of stunning views, of course, is a very unique and classy. Admission to here of 500 bhat or 225ribu according the exchange rate when I visited. The clothes here surely must be courteous, not allowed to use with skirt or pants above the knee, the dress should also be fair. Appreciate their rules because certainly we also want in value instead? Welcome visit

  • Undoubtedly, the sanctuary of truth is a Pearl of Pattaya, and maybe all over Thailand. The huge sanctuary, while visually light, even-air. Its harmonious lines and abundance of detail is amazing. It was stunningly beautiful, and outside and inside. It's really hard to describe-it is better to see once. We were themselves without tours. On the one hand, lacked information, it was difficult to understand the composition of Thai epic. But on the other hand, was able to without getting distracted, contemplate the beauty of indefinitely. Which is better-you choose. For fans to take pictures there are some suitable angles depend on the position of the Sun. Useful wide-angle lens. Seen here on the site of heated discussions about whether the temple was built without a single nail or nails still there? I do not know me, this problem is not touched. Just don't understand how a few nails can people spoil the impression of this fascinating place. Find the sanctuary of truth absolutely must-see!

  • One can't miss this. A must visit if one is interested in architecture and wood crafts. The entire place is wood. Even the floor one would walk. Each pillar has distinct design. Each section has distinct theme. Ensure you keep a 360 degree eye over the place.
  • This beautiful all-wooden structure is made of detailed carvings Hindu Gods, mythical creatures and Buddhist motifs. Located on the coast this place has got a very scenic view overlooking the sea. It looks like work in progress. Reconstruction/repair was going on when I visited in Jan 2018. But was allowed to enter the the premise. You can also visit the workshop and see live wood carving. There is also a cafe/restaurant in the woods.
  • A beautiful experience that Hindu & Buddhist will love this historical spectacular made of wood carvings Sanctuary. Entertainment , sight seeing panoramic view, souvenir, choice of snack bar , garden, you can ride elephant too and have a picture taking for couples with Thai fancy clothes. But you need to pay extra for these other activities. Due to hot weather for Asian like me who do not wanted to get dark skin you may wear something to your arms or bring your umbrella and wear a comfy sneaker & jeans to enjoy roaming around. Highly Recommended For Sightseeing!!
  • It is a wooden building more than 100m tall. It was started as a project by some rich Thai businessman in the 80s and the project is still on going and the building is expected to finish in next 20 years. The building houses mostly wooden sculptures from Hindu culture. The ambiance is not that bad, one has to wear a protective helmet in side as the construction is underway. The site also offers boat rides in the sea and elephant rides around the building. It is a private property with a certain set of rules for visiting which includes a dress code, Short skirts and low tops are not allowed. It has a small tuck show in front of which live dance performances are also displayed twice a day. For the first time visit to Pattaya the place is fairly recommended. Nothing special for children. It is an attraction only from religious and artistic point of view. Car park is available and the cost for visiting the building is 500 Baht per head, other than Elephant / boat ride.
  • The Sanctuary was a very pleasant experience. The structure itself is definitely a sight to see. The intricate wood work and care put into its design is at times awe inspiring. I only wish the area surrounding the Sanctuary were a bit more developed. Tourist should no doubt visit this historic site.
