Granada boasts numerous well-preserved examples of exquisite Moorish architecture, not the least of which is the Alhambra, an ancient citadel and royal palace.
Escape the urban bustle at Fundación Cueva de Nerja and Cliffs of Maro Cerro Gordo. Get some cultural insight at Alhambra and Mirador de San Nicolas. When in Granada, make a side trip to see Nerja Donkey Sanctuary in Nerja, approximately 1h 10 min away. There's much more to do: admire the natural beauty at Generalife, have some family-friendly fun at El Reino Escape Room, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Royal Chapel of Granada.

On the 29th (Tue), make a trip to Historic Centre of Cordoba, wander the streets of Jewish Quarter (Juderia), then take in the views from Roman Bridge, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Mezquita Cathedral de Cordoba. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: take an in-depth tour of Palacio de Viana, get engrossed in the history at Medina Azahara - Conjunto Arqueológico Madinat al-Zahra, then explore the historical opulence of Castillo de Almodovar, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Casa de Sefarad.

Traveling by car from Granada to Cordoba takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. When traveling from Granada in December, plan for somewhat warmer days in Cordoba, with highs around 19°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 4°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 30th (Wed) early enough to travel to Marbella.

Once a village of humble fishermen, Marbella is now one of the most cosmopolitan beach resorts on Spain’s world-famous Costa del Sol, boasting swanky nightclubs, classy hotels, and expensive restaurants.
Visiting El Tajo de Ronda and Paddock Paradise Ronda will get you outdoors. Castillo de Gibralfaro and Iglesia de Ntra. Sra. de la Paz will appeal to history buffs. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Marbella: El Torcal de Antequera (in Antequera), Malaga (Malaga Cathedral & Room Escape Games) and El Caminito Del Rey, El Chorro (in El Chorro). There's still lots to do: look for all kinds of wild species at Butterfly Park of Benalmadena, get engrossed in the history at Centro de Interpretacion del Puente Nuevo, and head outdoors with Experience Box Spain.
