A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Palace of Versailles and Arc de Triomphe. There's lots more to do: admire the landmark architecture of Louvre Museum, admire the masterpieces at Musee d'Orsay, take a stroll through Montmartre, and enjoy the sand and surf at Paris Plage.

Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
Start off your visit on the 9th (Sun): wander the streets of Campo del Ghetto, take a stroll through Cannaregio, examine the collection at Doge's Palace, then take in the views from Ponte dei Sospiri, then appreciate the extensive heritage of Piazza San Marco, and finally snap pictures at Ponte di Rialto. On the next day, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Santa Maria dei Miracoli, admire the landmark architecture of Basilica di San Marco, then take in panoramic vistas at St Mark's Campanile, and finally explore the galleries of Peggy Guggenheim Collection.

Traveling by flight from Paris to Venice takes 5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Traveling from Paris in July, expect Venice to be somewhat warmer, temps between 87°F and 67°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 10th (Mon) so you can go by car to Florence.

Considered a cultural, artistic, and architectural jewel of Italy, Florence is the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.
