At the northern extreme of the Red Sea sits Eilat, a resort town popular with domestic and international tourists.
On the 5th (Tue), have some family-friendly fun at Darkness - Israel's Biggest Haunted House, then identify plant and animal life at Wildlife Areas, then look for all kinds of wild species at Dolphin Reef, and finally ponder the design of Musical Fountain. Few places in the world boast such a long history and such a rich multiethnic culture as Jerusalem, a city sacred to Jews, Muslims, and Christians.
Shop till you drop at Mahane Yehuda Market and Levantine Gallery. Visit Western Wall and Mt of Olives for their historical value. When in Jerusalem, make a side trip to see Bet Guvrin-Maresha National Park in Kiryat Gat, approximately Kiryat Gat away.
