Charlotte, USA to Madrid is an approximately 12.5- hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus, taxi, and flight. The time zone changes from Eastern Standard Time (EST) to Central European Time (CET), which is usually a 6 hour difference. In May, Madrid is a bit cooler than Charlotte - with highs of 75°F and lows of 52°F. You'll have a few hours on the 4th (Mon) to wrap things up before traveling to Toledo.
