Prepare for slightly colder weather when traveling from Tainan in March: high temperatures in Nantou hover around 25°C and lows are around 16°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 18th (Wed) so you can catch the bus to Taichung.

Known its good weather, Taichung boasts an interesting set of cultural attractions, including many temples showing the development of religious architectural styles in the area and forming focal points for most tours of Taichung.
