Built on seven hills, Lisbon has experienced a renaissance in recent years, making it the cultural star of Portugal.
On the 26th (Fri), take in the spiritual surroundings of Mosteiro dos Jeronimos, step into the grandiose world of Palácio Nacional da Ajuda, then don't miss a visit to Belém Tower, and finally step into the grandiose world of Castelo de S. Jorge. Keep things going the next day: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Santa Maria de Belem Church, wander the streets of Alfama, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Igreja de Sao Domingos ( Santa Justa e Rufina ).

Kick off your visit on the 28th (Sun): admire the striking features of Quinta da Regaleira, then admire the landmark architecture of Palacio Nacional de Sintra, then explore the historical opulence of Park and National Palace of Pena, and finally explore the activities along Vale dos Lagos at Parque de Pena. The allure of the beaches and the town's historical center draw visitors to Lagos, a coastal destination in the Barlavento region of the Algarve.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Falesia Beach and Praia do Camilo. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Praia Da Rocha and Praia de Cacela Velha. Step out of Lagos to go to Altura and see Praia da Alagoa, which is approximately 1h 30 min away. There's still lots to do: kick back and relax at Praia Dona Ana, appreciate the history behind Statue of Gil Eanes, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Church of St. Anthony (Igreja de Santo Antonio), and get outside with Pro Putting Garden.

Traveling by car from Sintra to Lagos takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of flight and bus; or take a bus. In June in Lagos, expect temperatures between 32°C during the day and 21°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 3rd (Fri) so you can go by car to Seville.
