A port town largely devoted to tourism, Paracas serves as a popular starting point for exploration of Peru's south coast.
Start off your visit on the 5th (Tue): stroll through Supay Beach and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Playa de la Mina. Keep things going the next day: step off the mainland to explore Islas Ballestas and then enjoy the sand and surf at Playa Roja.

Montreal, Canada to Paracas is an approximately 17-hour combination of flight and shuttle. Cusco

Capital of the Inca Empire for three centuries, World Heritage-listed Cusco is now a major tourist destination, drawing nearly 2 million annual tourists with its well-preserved colonial architecture and proximity to Machu Picchu.
Get in touch with nature at River Rafting & Tubing and Santuario Animal de Cochahuasi. Step off the beaten path and head to Spas & Wellness and Sacred Valley of the Incas. When in Cusco, make a side trip to see Salinas de Maras in Maras, approximately 1h 20 min away. There's more to do: explore the ancient world of Sacsayhuaman and steep yourself in history at Tipon.

Traveling by combination of train and bus from Machu Picchu to Cusco takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus.
