The allure of the multi-cultural capital, Brussels, stems from its mix of political intrigue, artistic influence, historical significance, and a thriving social scene.
You'll get in some beach time at La plage de Renipont and Sint-Annastrand. Step off the beaten path and head to The Domain of the Caves of Han and Beer Tastings & Tours. Explore Brussels' surroundings by going to Pairi Daiza (in Brugelette), Menin Gate Memorial (in Ieper (Ypres)) and Tyne Cot Cemetery (in Zonnebeke). Zurich, Switzerland to Brussels is an approximately 3.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. Traveling from Zurich in July, expect nights in Brussels to be about the same, around 15°C, while days are a bit cooler, around 26°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Mon) to allow enough time to take a train to Amsterdam.

You'll discover tucked-away gems like Strand Bloemendaal Aan Zee and The Jordaan. Take a break from the city and head to Strand van Wijk aan Zee and Strand van Castricum. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Amsterdam: Strand Heemskerk (in Heemskerk), Hertenkamp Bloemendaal (in Bloemendaal) and Rietplas (in Houten).
