The largest town in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, Urubamba represents a transport hub, often frequented by tourists wanting to get out and see the ruins and natural sights of the valley.
Start off your visit on the 7th (Thu): explore by horseback at Hacienda del Chalan, then appreciate the views at Patacancha Valley, and then explore the ancient world of Pumamarca Ruins. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: look for gifts at Ceramicas Seminario and then see the interesting displays at Museo Inkariy.
