Madrid to Malaga is an approximately 2.5-hour train ride. You can also fly; or drive. In January, Malaga is a bit warmer than Madrid - with highs of 20°C and lows of 9°C. On the 18th (Sat), you'll have the morning to explore before heading off to Cordoba.

On the 18th (Sat), examine the collection at Centro Flamenco Fosforito, then take a stroll through Jewish Quarter (Juderia), then examine the collection at Casa de las Cabezas- Patios de Leyenda, and finally admire the masterpieces at Museo del Guadameci Omeya. Getting from Malaga to Cordoba by train takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: drive; or take a bus. Plan for slightly colder temperatures traveling from Malaga in January, with highs in Cordoba at 17°C and lows at 4°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 18th (Sat) early enough to catch the train to Seville.
