Terchová is a large village and municipality in the Malá Fatra mountains in the Žilina District in the Žilina Region of northern Slovakia.HistoryThe village was established in 1580, but the area was inhabited even before its establishment. Get out of town with these interesting Terchova side-trips: Strecno Castle (in Strecno), Oravska Galeria (in Dolny Kubin) and Slovensky Betlehem (in Rajecka Lesna).
