Beersheba also spelled Beer-Sheva is the largest city in the Negev desert of southern Israel. Bet Guvrin-Maresha National Park and Nabatean Avdat Acropolis are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Take a break from the city and head to Ein Bokek Beach and Ein Gedi Botanical Garden. At the northern extreme of the Red Sea sits Eilat, a resort town popular with domestic and international tourists.
Let the collections at Eilat City Museum and Erotic Museum capture your imagination. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Red Canyon and Mosh Beach. Change things up with a short trip to Ada Canion in Mitspe Ramon (about 1h 30 min away). Fly from Eilat to Tel Aviv in an hour. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. When traveling from Eilat in March, plan for a bit cooler days in Tel Aviv, with highs around 69°F, while nights are about the same with lows around 58°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 19th (Thu) early enough to catch the train to Haifa.

Getting from Tel Aviv to Haifa by train takes about an hour. Other options: take a bus; or drive. In March in Haifa, expect temperatures between 70°F during the day and 58°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 29th (Sun) to allow enough time to take a bus to Safed.
