Toledo is a World Heritage Site that embodies the complex cultural history of Spain while remaining a forward-moving, modern city.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Alcantara Bridge as well as Puerta de Bisagra. Start off your visit on the 25th (Wed): get engrossed in the history at Alcazar - Museo del Ejercito and then visit Casco Historico de Toledo. On your second day here, pause for some serene contemplation at Catedral Primada, explore the galleries of Church of Santo Tomé, appreciate the history behind Bust of Samuel Ha-Levi, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes, then snap pictures at San Martin Bridge, and finally make a trip to Puerta de Bisagra.

You can take a train from Madrid to Toledo in an hour. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In September, daily temperatures in Toledo can reach 33°C, while at night they dip to 17°C. On the 27th (Fri), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel back home.
