Along the Dalmation Coast, the city of Dubrovnik has become famous for its pedestrian-only Old Town surrounded by fortress walls, and its historical heft has earned it World Heritage Site status.
Start off your visit on the 11th (Tue): see the interesting displays at Love Stories Museum, enjoy breathtaking views from Upper Corner Tower Foundry Museum, appreciate the extensive heritage of Dubrovnik City Walls, then get lost in a book at The Franciscan Church and Monastery, and finally head off the coast to Lokrum Island.
