  • Nice museum. Great exhibits. Most of my group were adults. One child (7) who found it boring ( if it's not on Youtube or Tiktok it's boring). Nice way to spend an hour or so. Free entry. Well worth.....  more »

  • Fabulous vintage vehicles and modes of transport from years gone by. Laughing policeman makes everyone chuckle, have a peep at "What the Butler saw!", good selection of old and fun games from the seaside. Streetlife area is dark and oh so atmospheric ..... fabulous depiction of 1800s/early 1900s fashion, architecture and social history. Old sweetshop and chemist transports you back to when the size of a chocolate bar gave you a proper wholesome treat .... not the piddling size they are now! Interactive and educational fun for an the family. Took two year old twins and they absolutely loved their time at the museum. And it's free ..... with the option of a small donation to help with upkeep costs (box on exit).
  • A great place to come and spend an hour or two for free- or you could spend a fortune at The Deep aquarium in a noisy, echoing environment with thousands of noisy families! The streetlife museum is fun, fascinating and full of interesting exhibits, some are interactive- remember to bring a pocketful of 20p coins for the โ€˜What the butler saw โ€˜ and similar pier-end amusements. Brilliant!
