  • Impressive building to visit. My daughter is a university student and really wanted to see this building. It was a good building to visit if you have time  more »
  • The library is located in Midtown Manhattan, there are several subway lines that you can fail to close. Admission is free, the building is beautiful, when you enter the room main ceiling, it is as if you were watching the sky!, very beautiful. It has several rooms and you can visit them with respect and silence by those who are making use of the facilities. I recommend you to buy souvenirs here, like postcards, pens, etc, since although the price is the same as that in other museums, the money raised is for the maintenance of the property. In front of the library is The Bryant Park where you can relax, there are benches, tables and chairs to eat something, take a coffee, a NAP or just enjoy the evening. Very cute place!

  • The librarians are excellent! The hours are great. I love this branch!
  • I love this library - The staff are helpful and kind, it's great for every person in the community. Wonderful classes for children, teens and adults.
  • The best library in this state of New York.
  • Too small for Adults. Upper floor is not for those, age 19 and above . Beautiful, black stoned staircase. You may only climb to seek items, but not to sit-down.
  • Muhlenberg is a good library, with conscientious librarians and support staff, tons of media, working PCs, and a dedication to serving the WHOLE community--even on rainy days!!

Where to stay in New York City

The first step to finding accommodations in New York City is finding the right neighborhood. Manhattan, where most visitors end up, offers some of the most expensive rooms in the world, though there are lower-budget options, such as hostels with shared restrooms. Reduce your costs by basing yourself in one of the outer boroughs, but beware of low-end motels where you may end up sharing the premises with hourly customers. Alternatively, stay along the New Jersey shore, offering all the major chain hotels at considerably lower prices than their Manhattan equivalents.
