Sole Felsen Bad, Gmuend

Beautiful green environment, forest and lake but an extremly overcrowded place. We came here for the saunaworld but unfortunately in two days we haven’t seen not even one professional saunaprogram. The "saunamaster" came in, started speaking and making jokes with the elderly regular guests in an unintelligible austrian dialect, they had fun but the other 60 guests had to listen this stand-up comedy too, some movements with large flags and that’s it. This was in every programs we were in. No towel techniques, no music, no calmness. Very disappointing.

Extremely disappointed by the visit. All chairs in the sauna section were blocked by towels with only a few people really sitting on them. We didn't find any spot to rest during the entire visit and the staff refused to help. They said they would not remove the towels. I recommend using Saunia in České Budějovice instead... You can always find a free chair to rest as they encourage the customers to remove any towels that block them. Also price wise, Saunia is more favourable.
