Thundering 76 m (249 ft) into the valley below, Gollinger Wasserfall represents one of Austria's most prized natural monuments. The waterfall has served as muse for many a Romantic period painter, aptly located a short distance away from a late Gothic pilgrimage church with a Baroque interior. The waterfall is a 3 km (2 mi) hike from the city center, and the trail takes visitors up a steep ascent over a romantic wooden bridge. The trail passes the "black brook," as it's called, and leads to the cave that sources the waterfall. You can drive part way up to the falls, but to reach the top you'll have to hike the remainder on foot. Really nice place. The waterfall is more impressive when you go all the way up. Relatively a short visit, but not too crowded, well maintained, and there are other trails to walk around. The only downside is that you need to walk ~30 minutes from the train station to the entrance, no bus goes even near there. Of course it's not a problem when you have a car.

Scenic and peaceful waterfalls with hiking trails. There is some restaurants and cafe near waterfall. The ticket cost is 5 euro and better pay in cash as it was showing error for me with credit card because of the low network coverage there. The hike is around 30 minutes and it'll take you to water source cave. But with say 5 minutes walk you can see waterfall which is beautiful.
