Explore The Unfinished Church a historic landmark of the town, only 15 minutes from the center of St. George. Many stories exist as to why the cathedral was never completed. The construction began in 1874, and was supposed to feature a Gothic façade. With no roof constructed, lush green grass grows where the church aisles should be and the support pillars have crumbled and are covered in mould. Despite the church's incomplete structure, it has been frequently used for wedding ceremonies in the past. Sitting at the top of the hill with a beautiful view is this unfinished church. We heard it is a nice spot to hold a wedding and after visiting can see why.

The history of this church goes to show that some things don’t change. Church congregations have disputes that cost a lot of money!! The building shell is so lovely and makes for a great opportunity to play with angles and take photos through empty windows and on ledges. We found the geocache on the site also.
