The rocky island has no roads or cars, so you'll have to hike or catch a boat to get from one side to the other. Whichever method you choose will be worth it, allowing you to discover the fascinating scenery the island has to offer. According to local legend, the sun was born here, and it definitely hasn't gone away yet. Bring water, food, and plenty of sunscreen before you set out on your journey. Also, make sure you carry some cash, as you'll have to pay local people a small toll for passing through their land. 60 Bs daytrip. Boat takes you in 1.45 h to Isla del Sol. I took the north tour. Some hiked to the south port which is easy possible. But the north has better landscape and the inca ruins to visit ( 10Bs). I took a local guide, which gives additional information and easy to navigate (no sign where to go...)
