As one of the most diverse reefs in the Caribbean, Bari Reef contains more than 300 types of fish and other marine life. The beach entry for this reef provides easy access for snorkeling and diving (daytime or nighttime). The coral in the reef was damaged by a hurricane in 2007, but the area still houses a large amount of marine life, especially past the drop off. Be careful of entering the water in front of businesses, as owners may object to this. Did this one 3 times--went north once, south once, and hung in the middle on the third--also has nice place to park in the shade for lunch--great underwater stuff and good snorkeling for non-divers.

We went out there to Dive and even Snorkel multiple times during our staff and were so impressed by the Diversity of fish and Coral!

Love this reef. A great variety of things to see. Easy access. We visited in 2014 and stayed at Sand Dollar condos. This site was very convenient to that location. Most corals start in the 40ft zone and deeper. Diving here at night was amazing.

great place to snorkeling! easy sandy entrance and a huge unpaved parking lot. no water, no toilet, no trash cans. but you may see moray eels around the sunset and lobsters at the night.
