I went here because I have ancestors who lived in this town for several generations. The inside was closed, but we brought lunch and ate it on the picnic benches out front. There were a lot of historic markers, but unfortunately the one that looked most interesting was too faded by the sun to see or read easily. There is also a trail with markers about local birds and some nicely landscaped areas. Apparently, they are planting a tree here for every baby born in the town, which is a neat idea.

A one of a kind historical site, this beautifull place gives a great taste of the Quebecois life at an other time. ( best to go in the summer )
